I don't know, but I suspect that the authors--and screenwriters--have even less influence on the score for their movies than authors do on the cover illustrations for their books.

When scripting it, I learned that it is frowned upon to add a musical score unless the character sings the song in dialogue. However it has been a recent trend to put movies to a heavier musical score, like Saliva's "Click, Click, Boom" , or Drowning Pool's "Bodies". So in my mind that is the musical scoring for it.

    ***UPDATE***

I sent the script off to the entertainment attorney in Hollywood a couple of weeks ago, two to be exact of this past Saturday. He has read it and liked it. There were a few changes he strongly suggested prior to my sending it elsewhere to try and sell. Since he is a screenwriter and Reader himself, I took these changes to heart and examined them, then reworked , and added some scenes.
Of course what he failed to mention all these months is that his office is located with PHEONIX PICTURES (http://www.imdb.com/company/co0029574/), and he has connections there.
So, theoretically, my script has been in the hands of a production company for the past three weeks.

Once I know more I will update you again.

Man Eric those are some Dark bands. But I like it.If I had to choose between those two songs, I would choose the 1st one. If I had to have a musicial score I would have Posion's "Look What the Cat Dragged in" How much longer until filming starts and will this guy consider it?
The Prime Master read the message again. This time, by the time he finished reading, he smiled beatifically. The message included a great deal of information about the Earthman Army and airpower and their tactics. This was inteligence that would serve the Emperor's army well when it next encountered the Earthman Army. As it most assuredly would.......
