David, in the last paragraph of Kingdom's Swords, what did you mean about fanatics? What did they do?

There's something else I have to say about this book. Some readers have thought one of the two major story lines in the novel is a reaction to a recent event. Not so. We finished writing the novel and turned in the manuscript in April of 2001 -- several months earlier. Any similarity between what we wrote and what some hate-filled fanatics did is purely coincidental.
