The Iraqi's want us to stay there for 100 years and fight for them. Our current stratagey is this: "When Iraq stands up, we stand down" That is what Bush said. Now, I won't say anything bad about him (Remember I won't say anything bad about the current U.S. president only on the issues) but  I thought that we could leave when they stand up. Which will never happen. Mc Cain wants us to stay there forever and get more of our boys/girls killed (My cousion is in the army and so is her husband). That man is crazy! Will we ever get out? You see the reason why I am concerned with all of these issues is because my Generation (Ages from 10-35) will have to fix all of these problems in the future. Deja Vu Vietnam huh? That is what my dad is saying. I know Vietnam is not the same, in fact this is exactly what Germany did in France (Not the Camps)

Germany did this to France

1: Invade

2: Capture capitial

3: set's up a puppet Gov

4: Frence insurgents fight

You see? This is the exact same thing. Maybe not in the political arena, but we took over a country that did not have ANYTHING TO DO WITH 9/11. Look at Osama, we are doing him a favor by staying in Iraq, it is a big recruitment oppertuinity. Ok, I'll stop raving.

Last words: Can't we resort to diplomacy?

That's a pretty well-written piece for our Skinky.  He can do passable work when he wants to.

Right after the fall of Saddam, I heard one news report that the Marines, in their area, were going to establish units similar to the Combined Action Platoons we had in Vietnam, to provide local security for the people and give them space and time to pull themselves together. To which my reaction was, "Good!" It never happened; the neocons believed that democracy would break out spontaneously throughout the country.

Sure did, didn't it?
