With in 10 years T.V., shows, News will all be on the Internet. So it is a waste to get cable.

Well in 10 years when that happens I will stop watching cable. But until then I got to have my SCIFI channel!!!!

Just go on the web site and watch all of the shows online. How do ya think I watch BSG?

Following up on what Dan said about The Economist, in my opinion the best news on TV is on BBC America. They not only give a different slant on the things covered by network and cable news here, but cover things network and cable news doesn't touch.

That's a good point.  Another newscast, also on PBS, is the "News Hour."  There you get more than the 30-second soundbite.
