Skink...you ain't even a contender in the Post War...RTS's are ok and you can have a cross platform to does both a RTS and FPS. But it would be more economically feisable for say...EA, to build the Starfist Universe on an already existing platform like the BF2 or BF2142 engine. Thus making it a larger community, with greater playing fields, but allowing the individual player to create their own character, and move them thru the ranks by a points system that is accrued thru the various battles of the Confederation Marine Corps in the Starfist universe. Or they can choose to be one of the many popular characters found in the series, both past and present. And if you are familar with the BF2142 engine you will also realize that it is more of a "Squad Based" FPS, meaning you can command a small unit of men to fight with, or become a member of a pre-existing squad and earn points thru cohesive battle tactics and playing as a team member.
The hard part is doing the research on the already existing planets of the CHW and creating the new ones for the game(s). Designing the vehicles, landscapes, etc.

You have good ideas Skink, but before you mention them, research a little more so you don't put the "Cart before the Horse".

TP!!! Where the hell you been man!!! Glad to have you back! Get you a T-Shirt yet? You better have!!!

Rally, Welcome back! But watch out for that Skink. The little guy's constantly skittering about underfoot, trying to trip people up and coming up with the most whacked out ideas for fanfic and games. And I'll bet he posts a one word reply to this post--he does that a lot.
