The price of gas is really expensive these days. Here it is $3.98. The gas is high cause of the food shortage and the demand for oil and because of the energy crisis. Now it is my opinion that we stop importing oil and start drilling our own. As much as i hate to agree with Bush ( And you all know how I feel about him) I say we drill off shore for our own oil. Then the price of gass will decline while at the same time food prices will also go down.
At the same time the U.S. should stop producing ethonal and start making eletric cars, and cars that run on water. This has not happend yet because the 110th Congress won't do anything about it. Have they made changes? Yes. but the Dems and Pubs (Republicians) need to come together to fix this energy problem that we are haveing. And why the frak do we send food over to Africa? Why!? The U.S. should feed itself and not feed other countries, because I have friends who live in the ghetto and they can't get food. Dammit it all to hell. (Sighs, picks up a fine peice of beef jerky and eats it while thinking of what to say next) Sometimes I wish I could just fix all of these problems.
My next opinion : "College"
Hmm... Sargent Major said gas was at 73 or 76 cents in Kuwait.... Damn, we're getting shortchanged!
"College" That word is thrown around a lot these days, hell, College is supposed to prepare you for life. Well I was reading in the N.Y. Times yesterday that even if you do go to College you may not find a job. That's right boys and girls you might not get a job because most jobs these days all require on thing in commen: They want you to know something with computers. Do I love computers? Yes, I took an HTML class in my senior year. Now does it make sense to send kids off to College without the College professers preparing you for the real world? (Not the reality show Jeppers! This is not MTV) college does not prepare us for the real worls, now we have to know a skill.
That's my take on it.
