We still get drunk.  When My unit got back from Iraq we had some of the young guys get drunk and arrested by the MPs.  The charge willfull destruction of goverment property.  Seems the MP's caught them pulling the fifth stop sign out of the ground.  They Started at the front gate and worked there way to the barracks.
