CMC Uniforms

I know they have the OD barracks fatigues, the chameleons for field-work, the Reds for prettying up for parades and what-not, but are there like Class B’s and different levels of the Reds, ones for Fancy dinners and ones for parades and ones for Embassy duty with ribbons instead of medals and the likes?
And what about short-sleeved shirts for summer-wear?

Oh my. Mention has been made a few tiimes for various formal wear for officers and senior NCOs, but the focus of the series is on the enlisted men of a platoon stationed in a remote outpost. They really have little call for other kinds of uniforms--not to mention authorization. When I was in, we had dress greens for the winter, tropicals for summer, and utilities for basic wear. We also had khakis, which hardly anybody ever wore, and dress blues, which hardly anybody owned, and almost never had occasion to wear. (The dress blues were discontinued as an issue uniform early in WWII as a cost cutting measure, and reinstated in, I think, the 1980s. At about which time the tropical uniform was discontinued.
Now, if we were writing about pogues at a major installation on an important world, the uniform situation would be different.

Wow... Those'd be some smart looking
Soldiers.
I don't know if they'd even be allowed to stay in the Corps, they'd be that pretty.
