Dan and david so how was handling the finshed product. Dan, that is interesting that you get your author copies this soon before the release date. much other publishers usually send the store copies out first and then the authors recieve their copies after the book in sent out to the stories. also, has del ray hinted to you when recoil may be arriving on the shelves.

It didn't always work this way, we can tell you. We also get to review the copy-edited manuscript and comment on our editor's changes which gives us the opportunity to reverse some of them. Yep. Now if they'd only pay us real bucks for our work...
