James Earl Jones as the Sgt Maj. He did a good job in Gardens of Stone. Best line in the movie "Whats the matter Top I can here you bellowing all the way down the hall. What did he do bugger your pet goat." But I would be happier with a bunch of unkowns.

The more I think on it, I'd rather have the entire cast be unknowns. All of them.

Ok ladies and gents...you are in my world now....actors and film trivia is my forte!!! Here is my list:
Charlie bass: Kurt Russell, Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis
Joe dean:      Tom Welling
Claypoole:    Michael Rosenbaum(good chemistry with Welling)
Hammer:       Tyrese Gibson, Vin Deisel
Sturgeon:      Sam Elliot, Tom Skeritt
Conorado:    Ed Harris
Hyakawa(sp):  Dustin Nguyen


I haven't gotten to the rest but I am sure from reading this thread you will fill in the others for me quite nicely. Michael Rosenbaum would have to play some role in it cause I have an "IN" thru his sister, so when I complete the screenplay she said she would see to it he got a copy of it. My nephew worked for her while he was in high school, now he is fighting over in Iraq. Pray for his safe return as I do.

Eric:  some of your nominations aren't bad at all, but who're Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Welling & Tyrese Gibson?  Vin Deisel would be OK soon as he learns how to act.  Mel Gibson?  Probably not, he's in hot water right now.  But here's one for all you movie and Starfist fans, who'd you pick to play Alistair Cazombi?   I bet none of you will EVER get that character right, not until FIRESTORM comes out, murrrhahahahaha.
