Marines in SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND
Posted: 30 Sep 07 9:53 PM Modified By eric_bean34 on 9/30/2007 9:57:09 PM)
When I started reading the Starfist Series the 1995 TV series Space: Above and Beyond sprang to mind. I really enjoyed it back then and it was a shame it only lasted one season. I had to buy the season and watch it a few times to get my mind in the right frame to write parts of the screenplay. It has gathered a cult following and hope someday it will make it back to the smallscreen.

Priest: Colonel. Colonel! Colonel McQueen! Do you need to make peace with your maker.
Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius "TC" McQueen: My maker was some geek in a lab coat with an eyedropper and a petri dish. What do I need to make peace with him for?
Priest: In times of war we must all make peace with our maker.
Lt. Col. Tyrus Cassius "TC" McQueen: Well, I don't think our maker wants to hear from me right now. Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe. And when I get back, I'm going to drink a bottle of scotch as if it was Chiggy Von Richtofen's blood and celebrate his death.
Priest: Amen.

The actor that portrayed McQueen, James Morrison, I believe would make a really good Cpt. Conorado. He does really good in military based rolls.

Funny coincidence, i went through boot with a former boxer named Jeremy Morrison. Slow as a freakin brick. Would definitely NOT make a good Cpt. Conorado.

Capt. Shane Vansen: McQueen was born with a ka-bar and a Corps tattoo.

Kinda sounds like Bass.
