I know marines have that 'every marine is a rifleman' thing, but pilots as I understand it are a tad more expensive than Infantryman for their training in flying combat aircraft. Even other good serieses like battlestar suffer from it. You have what are essentially Naval Officers (even if they have ranks like Colonel and Captain and Major) leading marines, and one Pilot acting as a marine on a VBSS.
