For some reason I keep getting ideas popped into my head for the new Starfist books which I doubt will be use by Dan and David. Since I bet authors comes up with their own ideas. If they use my ideas please mention me in your book!
Here are the ideas that popped in my head:
1. What if the 34TH FIST is force to use projectile weapons instead of blasters and Dean & Claypoole has to teach the entire battalion (hopefully I spell this correct) how to use them. Also they have to use bladed weapons and I mean like swords or lances.
2. What if the only a handful of marines is force to fly a plane to esacape or make a strategic retreat from the enemy.
3. What if the 34TH FIST is transported in a era of World War 2 ( this is problably the most BS idea i ever thought of)
4. What if the 34TH FIST challenges the FORCE RECON on whos superior.
5. What if the 34TH FIST goes to a planet that is overrun with machines thats on a killing spree ( Now this is purely copy righting Terminator series)
6. What if the 34TH FIST faces undead monsters ( OKAY THIS IS SOUNDING REALLY REALLY STUPID)
7. What if the 34TH FIST uses Skinks weapons. Teaching the Skinks how they like being burned to death with acid.
8. What if the 34TH FIST joins fighting match group? For example, attending underground fighting and catching some mob)
9. What if the 34TH FIST has the power of the force. (OKAY I BETTER STOP BECAUSE NOW THIS IS SOUNDING FARFETCH AND REALLY REALLY STUPID)
PS: I know these ideas sound really really lame, stupid, dumb, crazy or full of BS. I just thought of these ideas along the way. The mostly likely reponse I would probably get is " ARE YOU ON DRUGS?!", "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! This sounds like random ideas!" and "Are you trying to get the authors in the world of sh*t with these copyrighted ideas?!"

Oh ya I remember that scene. Thats a pretty cool scene. I wonder if Conorado would see Jen's brother after the explosion incident. By the ways, does anyone in the higher chain of command know how to use projectile weapons.
Plus it would be nice to see Dean,and Claypoole teaching their fellow marines and they have more knowledge than anyone in the battalion other than Conorado.
I wonder if marines ever use purely knifes only if their weapons are useless or ran out of bullets. I remember one time while playing Battlefield Vietnam. I read on the screen that the US soldiers use the AK-47 more than their own gun. Since the their own is prone to jam in the swamps and they even use condoms to fix the problem but it was still useless. Soon they just pick up the AK-47 but are easy targets from fellow soldiers.
I would like to see the 34TH FIST blasters to malfuntioned or ran out of bullets. Then they are force to use enemy guns or retreat and taking out enemies with their knifes or use hand to hand combat. Would be cool if the entire 34TH FIST drives tanks to breakthrough the defensive line.
