Not sure about my Mother’s dad, but Grandmother’s first husband was a Sapper, with the New Zealand Army (can’t recall which Division, Company and such).
I know my Dad’s father was a Mid-upper gunner on a Lancaster. My brother was a Sergeant in the Army Cadets.
