Yeah, the Marines changed it. It's now almost as accurate as the M14 at range. It's better than the M14 at auto fire--the M14 was a lousy automatic rifle, too lightweight, fired high and to the left beginning with the second round. Damn fine rifle at semi-auto, though. I've never fired the M16.
Boy, I can remember that! Even if I was in the Air Force they had us out on the range with those damn things. You couldn't sight them in properly and on auto it was spray and pray.

My only complaint about the M16 is its 5.56mm rounds, granted its tumbles when it hits flesh it just doesnt have the stopping power of the 7.62mm rounds or even the new 6.8mm...then again i also prefer the Thomson over the MP5...

I expect royalty statements in the next couple of weeks. I doubt that DemonTech sold enough copies in the six month period covered in those statements to interest Del Rey in resuming the series. But we shall see.

Keep on trying David. I know that you will eventually be the next Tolkin. I'm going to re-read the 1st Deamon Tech. Hey, I've been telling people about it in class, hopwfully they bought the entire series. But Damn I was hoping that the good guys would beat the forces of evil. I mean they did in all of the books but what I meant was that the Dark Lord would be killed. A show down kinda thing you know?
