I am glad to be aboard. I went to Paris Island, i still hate those sandfleas. Do you ever make it to Pittsburgh, PA for book signings? I told all of the guys @ my Marine Corp League about your books, most of the old farts dont read sci-fi, but i am still trying. I had a buddy stationed @ K-Bay, lucky him. I loved El Toro. I spent alot of time in schools before i hit the Fleet. I was in almost 2 years before i got to my 1st permanent squadron. Cherry Point probably didn't look alot different when i was there than when you were, even though we served 20 years apart. We still had old WW2 converted squad bay barracks. I think it is really nice of both of you to take time out of your schedules to talk to your fans!
