I just found out about this place...
Posted: 08 Aug 06 11:42 PM Modified By BOS13 on 8/8/2006 11:43:41 PM)
And now I wish I knew about it longer.  Someone at one of the forums I go to started a thread about what military sci-fi the members liked, and when I told him I absolutely LOVED Starfist, he put up a link to here.

As far as any relevant info on me, the Starfist series are defenitely some of my favorite books, and I started reading them in seventh grade, which would have been four years ago, when I was twelve.  I read the ones that were out, then bought the rest on their release date, even called in sick to buy Flashfire.

I've already read a few of the threads, and I'm looking forward to staying here for a long time.

Bos:  Well, we're looking forward to your hanging out here and getting to know us better.  It'll be nice to have someone besides me on this site who has real goals in life.  You gotta watch these other fans, they like to keep the pot boiling.  In contrast to you, who obviously has refined tastes in literature, one of these other guys said he called in sick after reading FLASHFIRE!

Welcome to the party Bos! (does that stand for Boston...as in my favorite bb team the Great Boston Red Sox?)

So you're 17 now...hmmm...you and Danners are polar opposites, heh heh.

At 12 i was starting a very nice comicbook collection, reading Dragonlance, screaming YO JOE! on my Mongoose, and yes...wetdreaming about miss right NOW in the pages of Playboy!  Glad to see you're a bit more refined.

Ok, so I have to ask...what's with the lyrics?  Oh...that sounds like a good Thread....Great War Lyrics/Quotes.  Bos, I like the way you think.  The Claypoole Fan Club could really use a man of your caliber!

Deadshot

You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars
My energy is spent at last, and my armor is destroyed
I have used up all my weapons, and I'm helpless and bereaved
Wounds are all I'm made of
Did I hear you say that this is victory?

Bos, glad to see a youngin' here. Apart from my other counterpart (the jig is up, two people are using Tuefle, so... watch out.) I'm the only other teen here, as far as I know.

First books I read of my own volition were either Timithy Zahns' Thrawn trillogy, or the Foundation Series. (If I have to say who wrote it, I make a premtive "grr!")back in 8th grade, 2002-3. Freshman year is when I actually recognized that I had a few Starfist books sitting around that my bro had left for me when he went off to Army boot.

Does your name have anything to do with a video/computer game related to the Fallout Series?
