Which battles do you re enact? Iwo Jima? Okinawa? The Philipenes? Must be really cool. My grandfather was in the pacific theatre of WWII and so was my great uncle now he was in the navy. And oh boy do I have a few WW2 stories

 Welcome back, I new blood around here (february I think) but great to have some more starfist fans. Im a former marine, '86 to '96, Airwing also, last five in worked on harriers. If Ya get a chance, eric and I created a myspace page for StarFist. http://www.myspace.com/starfist_3rd_herd, adding to it here and there, helping to pass the word.

We only do one or two PTOs a year. This year is New Guinea. They mainly go for ones like Oki or New Guinea because the want to allow Army and Commonwealth involved. Or else a lot of money is spent on a battle a small number comes to.

I actually re-enact US GI as a primary. But I have my Marine things, and my Marine pilot things, and I'm starting a German GrossDeutschland impression for East Front events (about 2-3 times a year) and then after all of that... I want to start an 82d Airborne... This hobby never stops growing...
