Reporting for duty with hands in the pockets
Posted: 09 Mar 06 2:14 PM
When I first picked up my first Star Fist novel I thought it would be another cheesy military Sci Fi book.  Now years later I eagerly await each new installation.  Charley Bass started out as my favoriate character but now I would have to say Hammer is with Bass a close second.  Awaiting futher orders Sir.

I want you guys to go easy on Wiper.  He's obviously a literary geninus and a person of impeccable good taste.  Our former editor at Del Rey and now our agent, Owen Lock, is a former birdman.  Anyone who pokes fun at Owen is, well, probably right, but we love him even if he does look odd.

HOLY CRAP!!

I just got another connection.  You sneaky SOB...Owen Lock, aka, Owen the Woo.  Son of a gun!  Man, you guys are full of surprises.  You know, I'm going to have to keep a list of these.  I'm on to you guys...like Oprah on a Twinkie.

I do not mind the Chair Force jokes, I just consider the source. The one thing that is funny in the real world is that all of the convoy security duties in Iraq with the exception of the Marines is done by the Air Force because we are used to digging in and holding until relieved.
