Well, hello everyone. I came across the Starfist books while deployed a few years ago. They were donated and put into some care packages. I just happened to google the name today to see if there are any new books out there and I came across this site. I'm an active duty Marine (Gunnery Sergeant) currently serving an instructor billet in Va Beach. I've been in for almost 16 years and started out as an 0311 and am now an 0369 Infantry Unit Leader. I really enjoy the series and they are great reads on deployments. My hats off to the authors and I thank them for their previous service and their current service of providing some outstanding reading material for the downtime between ops. Semper Fi, out here.

Hello uh, hmmm. Gotta think of a nick name for you. Don't worry we all have nick names around here, I have way too many! I'm Skink, pleased to meet you. Hope your ready for StarFist 14 to come put later this year :)
The Prime Master read the message again. This time, by the time he finished reading, he smiled beatifically. The message included a great deal of information about the Earthman Army and airpower and their tactics. This was inteligence that would serve the Emperor's army well when it next encountered the Earthman Army. As it most assuredly would.......

Gunny, Welcome aboard! I can't tell you how glad Dan and I are that today's Marines on deployment enjoy our books of future Marines. I was an 0311 myself--the REAL Marines. (No offence intended to anybody else, not everybody gets to be an 03xx.)
