Hello, by my screen name you can tell what branch I am from. Just picked up the first book of this series about 3 weeks ago at the local library and finished flash fire yesterday. What a hell of a story. I have been in the army for 13 years. I have had the job of 63B for the whole time. Army talk for a mechanic. I'm in the reservese now but started out with 4 1/2 years active with combat MP unit in germany. Now I am a R.E.M.F. for you older guys or a Fobbit for you guys currentlly in. Worse than that I recently got tranfered to Battalion.

Welcome aboard, armyblank!  Glad you enjoyed the books.  Wow, and I thought I read fast.  :)

Have you found the spin off series, Starfist Force Recon, yet?  It's just as good as the Starfist series.

yeah I like Claypoole too, I'm always up to a little mayhem. as far as reading fast not really. My Kids watch disney until the go to bed at night (better than alot of other channels) and I read insted of watch TV. Also I had a 4 day weekend for Reseve duty where I sat around and did R.T.O. at night. Nobody talks at night so I read to stay awake. that counted for 3 books in one weekend.
