Oh, Lordy, how could you have forgotten "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes"? I warned you, all that Benny Hill would rot your mind away.

Ah, good to know we aren't the only U. S. S-F authors being ignored in the UK.  But here's a dirty little secret, we aren't in the Army & Air Force Exchange Service stores either or as far as we know the Navy Exchanges, the very types of stores where you'd think there be sprightly sales for our books.  I think that's because they don't order books through a centralized system, it's up to each individual store manager to stock titles.  Right, David?  And as far as we know, we've never been reviewed in "Leatherneck" magazine although I sent the editor the first 5 books in the series with a note that his readers might be interested in them. When all's said and done, dear Dr. S., it's only folks like you who succeed in assuaging our battered egos, so go right out there and BUY, BUY, and BUY some more!

Dan,

If it's any help, I've already tried to spread the word in the other forums where I "work" about the series, we have a book subforum in which we talk about stuff like this (I won't mention the name again in case I get told off for advertising!).  Also, there's a real (and imminent) possibility that we might be setting a new subforum for military sci-fi specifically, which would be the natural place to talk about all this kind of stuff.

I have a few other ideas which might help - let me have a think.

Dr. S.

/me points to Dr. S's Sig....

Hmmm... I did once find a copy of Book IV in my Boot Camp MRP "library" (I was west coast)... Donated by the Mothers of Marines Association or something like that... Never got around to reading it....

Hmmm... Maybe I should start a Non-rate revolution for Starfist... Marines (well the ones that do read) would totally get enthralled in them....

Welcome to the party Sinister.  Glad to have you aboard.  Sorry it has taken so long for you to get a welcome basket.  With the way the Euro is now a days, the birdflu, and the battle bw Brown & Blair..things have been busy.  Sounds like we're bringing in a fan w/ some clout in the Web Universe.  Excellent!  Spread the word my friend.  Btw, I think a certain X-Men villian by the name of Mr. Sinister would like to have a word with you.
