Introduction
Posted: 09 Feb 06 8:10 AM Modified By jackmahan on 2/9/2006 8:10:56 AM)

My name is Jack Mahan and I live in the Greater Boston Area in the beautiful and scenic PRM (People's Republic of Massachusetts). I am a former Marine, 1976-1980 active and 1980 -1981 reserve, with the MOS of 2542 with a secondary of 0331 and 2531. I have been reading the Starfist series since 2000 and the Demontech series since its inception. I just finished Flashfire and can't wait until the summer for Pointblank. This is one of the series that I check Amazon for and always pre order.

The series grabbed me because of the way it is written, by people who have been there. Having served with three of the four Marine Divisions and being at the battalion level, this series is probably more authentic than most Military Science Fiction. I can relate to Dean, Pasquin, Claypoole, Bass and Shultz, because they remind me of Marines I served with . Keep up the good work.

Jack:  Thanks very much for the kind remarks.  Coming from a man of your experience they mean a lot to us.  "People's Republic of Massachusetts," man, I LOVE that!
