I really do understand how your parents might feel, especially these days with Iraq & Afghanistan going full blast. I know how harrowing it can be to have a family member in a combat zone. You hate to hear the telephone ring. I know now how my Dad felt about me all those years I was in Vietnam. And when my son's not deployed somewhere as a Marine reservist, he's a police officer in a very rough county over in Maryland, walking point as it were every minute he's on duty. But parents sometimes just have to suck it in because a time comes when their kids go their own way. You'll find out for yourself in time, when you have a family of your own. Until then, do your best to do your duty as you see it and your folks will be proud of you.
