Just found the board. It's awsome that this place exist.

I myself and a former/future Marine. I was with C 1/4 when I was on active duty and A 4th LAR in the SMCR, both out of Camp Pendleton, CA (the 50 sq mi of Kulleefornia that recives all of Kulleefornia's annual rain.)

Currently, I am finishing up my degree with Oregon State University (distance education) and plan and going back into the Marines. I'm married with two kids.

I draw, write, read, build models, hike, camp, mountain and road bike for fun. I love sci-fi and am an open Trekkie. I live in northwestern Washington.

I love, I frikin love the Marine Corps...

and can talk shop for hours on end.

I found Starfist quite by accident a few weeks ago. I was  perusing  Barnes & Noble for something new to read when I saw what appeared to be an Eagle, Globe and Anchor next to two bodies in MarPat. I picked it up, read the description and went searching for book one. Found it and a half hour into the book I walked to the register and bought it.Since then I have read up to book three and both FR books.

These books are great and I hope to have fun here!
