Or "PFC," "Poor Fucking Civilian."  But let's not forget one thing.  When I was on the Joint Staff at the Pentagon the civilians there were always complaining about how much money we military types were getting paid.  You know, the 8-5 types, no weekend work types, guys who always lived in the same neighborhoods?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Yeah right, someone that wants to gripe about how much we get payed. Probably because they get GS pay, heck I make as a Corporal (E-4) the same amount all together with my bonus pays as a GS-4,5, maybe 6.

I promised myself one thing I will never whine when I finally go to school or become a teacher. I'm guranteed to get out when everything is done, and I certainly don't have to speed up my class to meet a deadline. Aircraft Maintenance is no joke, I can only guess what its like for my best friend in Iraq. But I'd rather be there, because then I've got motivation, fixing jets to keep them on the air so people on the ground have someone to call on to drop bombs in support of their mission.

Of course they never take into account that the average Marine not at war can work for two weeks or a month straight, without a day off.

If you're going by the hour pay, you'd be better off at McCareer.

As I put it... you got your 50 dollar an hour days... and you got those 5 tenths of a cent days.
