Thanks for the welcome. I'm not Canadian, US born and breed and USAF Vietnam Vet, but have friends that live there. And I believe some lost family members.

LibraryThing.com is a book catalog site with around 300,000 members and over 21 million books cataloged. Thanks for the tip about Wikipedia. I seem to have a block about using that site and never remember it. I'll get some pictures from there and upload to LT.

LOL, pigeons don't bother me, I just deal with them or ignore them as the case may be.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not Canadian, but have friends there and enjoy the political discussion better than the US sites. I think you'd like the trilogy. It makes you think about some things. That's why I like the Starfist series, the authors make you think about the political situations and other things the military has to put up with on occasion.

What part of Canada are you from? I have friends in BC and Calgary.

Oooops, my fault.  From a remark you made in a post I thought you were Canadian.  The other chaps are right, though, we often get into some pretty lively discussions around here.  David and I look at it this way, you buy our books so we owe it to you to engage in dialogue with you.  If it weren't for fans we'd be flipping burgers at MacD's.  We may wind up there yet but it sure won't be for ignoring our readers.
