List of current characters?

Hello Squad,

I was so excited to find out that Starfist has a fan site.  Much cool.  Props to Mike.

Ok, here's my delema.  Since it takes 9 months for a new book to come out, I keep forgeting the main & minor characters & the plots for the last 10 books.  Can we (as in us fans) make a character tree of info?  I just started reading the new book & stopped on page 10 b/c I had to think about Bass's girl Katie plus I think there were some new Corporals.  So I'm currently rereading A World of Hurt again.  I've always wanted to create a character list for my self.  I've actually also started rereading Book 1 "First to Fight" to remember how it all began.  Anyway, what are the rest of the Squad's thoughts?

Thanks, Deadshot.  I find myself somewhat in the same position, that of not remembering earlier Starfist history while reading a later book.  I'm planning to start re-reading the series soon, anyway, so that I can be in a better position to write reviews, so compiling a character list might be part of the process.  The idea of a character "database" is a good one anyway -- I've thought along similar lines myself.  One of the things I was considering was installing a "wiki" on the site, where other fans as well as myself could contribute character, place, and historical information.  As an example of content, there could be a biography of President Chang-Sturdevant there, and it could be expanded as Starfist developed.  Of course a wiki would have to have a really big "Spoiler Alert" sign hung on it! 

Well, it's a thought.  There's one commercially-available wiki software product intended specifically for the DotNetNuke technology that StarfistHQ is built on, and it isn't too expensive, so I might go that route.  On the other hand, a free wiki product is in development by a DotNetNuke project team, so maybe it could wait.  Hmmm.  Just wait and see for now, I guess.

Ok Mike, whatever you need from me, and I think the rest of the "Squad", just say so.  I love the idea of a "wiki".  We could take each character and move them through the series and give explenations on what happens to them in each book.  In rereading First to Fight, I forgot Corp Doyle was introduced there and he was such a big dork trying to push around Dean & Chan, and that's why they don't like him in later books.  I'm very excited that someone else shares my feelings on this.  And "Spoiler Alert" isn't a strong enough word!
