Anyway, I was initially disappointed that PB was to be softcover, not hardcover like FF, but then I realized that PB is not, strictly speaking, a Starfist novel and is not FF's sequel, it is Force Recon.  Of course it will come in soft cover!  I'm actually mystified as to why Del Rey started out this series branchoff as softcover.  It is clear that they could have started it with hardcover -- but maybe that is merely my 20/20 Hindsight.
