Well if its moral were talking about now you gotta remember the Confederations moral was low, being stuck in a bunker complex and having to deal with pompous leaders.

The word is morale, more or less meaning good spirits. Moral is good behavior.

English is a difficult language to learn to spell. Unlike other Germanic languages, English has been heavily influenced by Scandinavian languages and French. We've also adopted numerous words from other languages, often changing the pronunciation without changing the spelling. And we have many instances where a letter isn't pronounced, but affects the pronunciation of other letters in the word. "Moral" and "morale" is a good example of that; the final "e" is silent, but it changes the pronunciation of the "a" and shifts the accent from the first to the second syllable. After you've written a few hundred thousand publishable words, you come to know these things.

I can verify what David says.  I was an English major.  I served in a British Thermal Unit during the war.
