Posted: 28 Jan 08 10:19 AM im a classic mechwarrior myself friend...but you gotta admit gundams do it in style...and when they have a gundam with a fraging nukefireing bazooka...well I'm afraid a whole lance of behemoth's and Daishi's cant hold up to that...but yeah i love battletech but the innersphere mechs are soo slow...and low tech vs. the clans...hmm maybe that thing with the Arrow 4 system could nail it...remember some of those mech designs came from anime...the warmaster, marauder, rifleman, and a few others are from the anime Macross...so did anyone ever play the pen and paper, hex based tabletop battletech? Posted: 28 Jan 08 6:11 PM I can't imagine anybody being dumb enough to develop mechas in real life. You want your armor low to the ground so it can't be knocked over, and presents a hard to hit target. Not to mention sloped sides where incoming fire can glance off.
