Yes Mechs = impracticle. The amount of gyroscopes needed to keep something like that balanced would make them far too expensive. However, I would like to see a hunchback kocking on the door at Osama's house.

skink, you should know that we just know this stuff...mind you i love mechs, but the truth is they are very impractical...the powered armor trooper is more realistic...

@Southwind: a hunchback? of all the ugly designs, but i guess wuth that ac20....but the Axeman could do with with so much more style...

i have a books on WW2 and its Bulge, not Buldge...also i saw someone make a model of the Panther and the Halftrack with the giant searchlight black light...i belive a flight of thunderbolts racked the kill on the SS panther division...but note these were not the normal army but Waffen SS boys...they had the best in everything...the IR optics needed a black light to see anything...tanks had a lamp on top but some units had serchlights mounted in halftracks to aid in night operations...just google it...
