Vampire Earth

This is yet another large series i've come to love. Its a kind of post apocoliptia (excuse my horrible spelling... apperntly spell check doesn't exist on Macs...) story where beings known as the Kurians have taken over earth with a very well laid out and executed plan when the Earth was unstable. It follows the character David Valentine (coulda come up with a better last name i know lol) and the struggle of the freehold territory in the Ozarks known as Southern Command. It follows young David as he joins up with the Cause. He get accepted into Southern Commands 1 of 3 elite units called the Wolves, they're basically hit and run gurrila fighting units (the other 2 being the Cats who are the long scouts and assassins , and the Bears who are the elite commandos). They get abilities that lay dormant within the human brain by their allies and sworn enemies of the Kurians, the Lifeweavers (both actually the same race but one side has taken to consuming the souls/ aura of living beings). the Kurians do their dirty work, consuming aura, through genetically engineered monsters called Reapers, they are incredibly fast, powerful, their joints can bend both ways and most of all scary as all hell.He and his fellow Wolve get sent on a mission to investigate odd happenings in Kurian territory, when his friend gets injuired they are brought to a family that is sympathetic with the Cause by a frustrated truck driver. and i don't wanna spoil the rest of it. I'm horrible at explaining things so i'm just gonna say if your looking for a good series that will get you addicted, go for it.
