Doom was probably one of the most awesome games ever simply because of the Super Shotgun. Nothing like 2 barrels of 12 gauge to say 'F YOU HELLSPAWN!!!'

Well i didnt feel like starting a new threat for this but has any1 read Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers? I had read it a few years ago when i was about 12 and i guess i just wasnt old enough to understand it then. But recently i reread it for a history assignment and I found the book wonderful, not that the fire fights are that detailed or that the characters are that memorable, but because it takes a much more psychological look at the war while still adding some comedy as well as the much needed fighting and losing people close to you. He referred to the soldiers as warrior angels and at one point the Huey's where like heavenly birds come to scoop up the angels that had fallen to the ground.
