John Ringo/David Weber books
Posted: 27 Jul 06 2:46 PM Modified By Wing Wiper on 7/27/2006 2:47:17 PM)
Apparently John Ringo is as bad as our two favoriate authors here (there I said something nice now can we get the books sooner) Right now one John Ringos most popular series is the Empire of Man series. He likes to hang our in Baens Bar chat room and lurk to relax. As the story goes he got tired of being asked when the fifth insallment was coming out. Keep in mind he is also writing on 4 more series at the same time. His response was a all caps answer "if you keep bugging me about it I will hold my breath until I turn blue and you will never get it" but it is a good coming of age series about Prince Rodger.

Ringo is quite a good author.  I've only read Into the Looking Glass and The Legacy of Alldenata (which I devoured...great stuff!).  Do you recomend The Upcountry Series?  He has some other series out that look interesting.  What's the Empire of Man?

While waiting for Starfist latest, I've started on the Honor Universe.  I must admitt it's good stuff.

I've tried to find the "Empire of Man" series on Amazon.  A search on that phrase doesn't yield any John Ringo books.  Could you list a couple of the titles in that series Wing Wiper?

Nevermind, found out which series it is.  It's the series that starts with "March Upcountry".
