We still haven't been given a pub date for Recoil. But as we've said elsewhere, we just finished approving (or disapproving as the case sometimes was) editing changes in the manuscript. It has several more steps to go through before the book gets printed.

Recoil will be a paperback original.

david are there plans to include an except of recoil with the paperback reprint of firestorm second what would you guess is the earlyest month that recoil could be published.

You mean Daly giving Manny's fiance his personal effects? The last thing we heard about Daly was that he found out that Manny is a homosexual. Nice twist there, didn't see that one coming at all!!

I think there will be an excerpt, but I can't promise it. September's probably the earliest.

Look, what happened was, Del Rey got the contract to publish novels based on the Heroes TV series. Somebody big name also signed with them. They needed to make room in their publication schedule, and Dan and I got the shaft. At least I think that's why the pub dates got pushed back.
