going to Barnes & Noble
Posted: 24 Oct 06 4:05 PM

going to Barnes & Noble this week end to pick up both recon books.  Have to replace Starfist BK 3 checked it out from the library and can't find it.  So after I buy the replacement I will put that one on my keeper self when it turns up.  probbally the next time I clean the kids rooms.  Only down side is I am going to get rid of 1632 and 1633 to make room for them.  But the can sit in the library until I want them just as good.

well if they charge me for the book it would save me a buck but, then the library's SF series would be incomplete.  Besides I lost it I should replace it.  The main reason I picked up the first to fight book was all 10 books where right there next to it.  I hate reading a series piecemeal.  The third book is the only one I haven't read completely and it is nawing at me.

I talked to the libraian today and she is ordering the recon books for the library too.  She is going to put that on her watch list as well.  Since the library gets new books shipped to them from the first print, I might be able to sign it out before the release date.  I did that with David Webers shadows of saigam book.  Really tick of my sister's boyfriend.

Army, not only do you have a magnificent handle, one that makes the rest of us look like slicksleeve privates, but having a library order our books?  Gee whizzzzz, that's REAL devotion!

handle use to be ArmyWrench but to many people use that one so I came up with this one.   Now the Library here is not that big it only has six branches and  I would guess that the will only get at the most 2 copies of each book.  that is the ussual amount they carry for books.  They do have a cuople( I am Lisdestic, no really I am) of the SF books on Audio Book.  When I get around to them I can listen to them while I drive to work.
