Hey D&D have you heard the country song by Big and Rick "The 8th of November" ?  They wrote it for an actual vet that was in the 173rd airborne during 'Nam.

this ties into the where's the wiskey thread to.

I thought about it Cause of the wiskey Topic.  I do it because that is what my Grandpa did.  He just did it on memorial day every year.  He had way more people to remember than I do though.  the one time he talked to me about it he told me when he was going through the pillipiens during WWII he hadto clear machine gun bunkers.  One week he had 10 partners, not because the guys wanted to work with other people either.   courses that was the first night I truely got pass out under the bed drunk.  Grandpa told me," Drunk your not drunk! your not drunk til ya gotta grab the grass to stop from fallin of the face of the earth."

Let's see if I can get this hyper link thing down.  Bett you'll get a piece of dirt in your eye and need a klenex after the vid.

Th,anks for the link, Army!  One thing your grandfather didn't tell you is how the hell can you grab onto the grass when you get falling-down smashed in the gutter?  Sidewalks are bad too.  So are stairwells.

I hate murphy.  Went and got the recon books and steele guantlet today at the store stopped at the library and they don't take books.  cost me $15 to replace an old worn out paperback when I had a brand new one in my hand that only cost $7.

by the way there is a whole self at the local B&N that has starfist on it.  You sould feel honored the only other series I know that are like that are Robert Jordans Wheel of Time and David Webers Honor Harrington.  The even had all 3 Demontech books.  Had to pas on those wife found some quilting books she liked.
