Dan I was rereading both flashfire and pointblank and realized something. in flashfire general billie was planning on having three army corps for combat duty but is pointblank the book said he only had six divisions in system so are the army crops 2 divisions in size or is the third army corp not in system yet. and two are there additional marine units in system but not listed because they are still in orbat.

thank you

Good question!  The breakthrough came before the rest of the forces could be landed and it turned out they weren't all needed so the story moved quickly beyond explaining exactly Billie's order of battle.  Or we screwed up again.  I prefer the first explanation.

Not to be mean or rude, to either you or Mr. Sherman, but I prefer the other. That you screwed up means that the characters in your story made the whole situation FUBAR.

Ask anyone who's played a RTS game, and they'll tell you that the until they got the knack of it, one of the hardest things about fighting a campaign in it is keeping all of the troops situated at the Front, and transporting the new units to the front, mostly for offensive purposes. You can't be two places at one, though some games do allow two players to control the same "Force" so that this problem is a lot less of one. The N64 version of Starcraft is a most excelent way of doing just that, but it can be a little irritating at times.

Further proof that if you want to be a leader, let the underlings know what you need, and let them do it, instead of micromanaging the Empire like Jeeffyseen Deevees. (heh heh heh)
