MC:  Good that you have a sense of humor.  You have to, to reread those books like that!  But some grinch, commenting on amazon.com, accused us of "self-promotion" for the way we sometimes make references in the Starfist series to other books we've written.  Well, screw him if he can't take a joke.

True enough! I would be disappointed in both of you, if you didn't make little references to your other works in these books. A man has to have fun in some way.

Yeah, i have to say, self-referencing a series INSIDE of the series was messing with my head a bit. In FR2, Jak is reading the first of the Starfist series. Forgive me for saying so, but that makes a time paradox that hurts my head! Still a good read though. Got nothing against promoting your own stories in your own books.

Kwangers, relax!  Why, people still read Shakespeare after 400 years, so why not Starfist?  I think you'll recall that in FIRST TO FIGHT there's a reference to the "Borden Act" which set aside funds to digitize every book in the Library of Congress so Starfist would still be available in electronic format to the Marines of the 25th century.

Yeah, i shouldn't get my feathers ruffled up about it. But, one question. Do you guys have the outlines for the next 10 books on Starfist ready?
