As a Legionaire you'd have a better chance, even now, of dying while in service your first five years (of prison like treatment) because the Frenchies have no scruples about sending foriegners into do their dirty work.

I would have loved to join the Legion, though, just to see how well I'd do. I'm married now with two children so that's out of the question.
I didn't really like "Windtalkers". It was more Ramboso meets Billy Jack Black to me.
