So, it's a good read? It sure sounds good. Hey Jep'ray is the "Lost Fleet" triliogy a good read?
P.S. Is your nickname Jep'ray because you watch the show "Jepordy"?
HA ahhahaha...um no. its a play on my name that my friends little sister kinda did to me...their phillipino and she turned the F into a kinda P and saide it with that weird accent...so my name went from Jeffrey to Jep'ray...i kinda liked to so i ran with it...Lost fleet? not sure, never read it, but after looking up the description it looks like a good read, if you stick to it. and it looks to lean to hard sci-fi...closer to reality than some others...but thats mostly what i read...for a gritty book.
also if David Drakes massive hover tanks arn't to your liking check out his "Redliners' book, one of my favorites...and "The Military Dimension Mark II" and please ignore the stupid pick, who ever drew that gun knows knothing about guns...who the hell puts a scope on the last quarter of the barrel? and the handles impossible...and the clip goes the wrong way for a bullet to fit..and i really wish the authors got a say in the picks that go into these books...
like David Weber gets some awsome covers, they match his storys perfectly...why does he get the decent artist?
and for stupid helmets look at "Jump Pay" by Rick Shelley...im staring right at it, and its a stupid looking thing...
ok i'll stop now...
Been lurking here for awhile. Have read both the entire Starfist and Recon series. Can't wait for the next installments. The Lost Fleet by Jack Campbell is an excellent read. Have read the first two in the series and can't wait to read the third!
Mike
I'm almost done with the last recon book but other than that, yeah, I'm done
