Hell, we'd probably make more from selling the option than we've made from any of the books. And an option is merely an agreement not to sell the rights to anybody else for a specified period of time. If they then want to actually make the movie, they've got to pay us more! Damn, that's about as good as being favorably compared to Heinlein! Your butt load will be bigger than our butt load, and we won't begrudge you a sou of it.
