That's an interesting observation, but perhaps you should try clearing it up in the future, should you use it again.

You think you've got a thing for "psycho chicks?" Man, you should meet some of the women in my past! They're why I haven't remarried since my wife and I split in 1980.

Our first three contracts were for two books each. Then we had a three book contract. The current contract is for three Starfist books and thee Force Recon books. We expect the next contract to be the same.

And yeah, TP, publishing has been taken over by the bean counters, who only see how big a profit an author makes. Starfist makes a profit, but not a big one, so there's always the danger that it'll be scrapped for that reason. Fortunately, nobody expects science fiction books to make big profits.

Too bad, though. I've always loved science fiction, but so few of the people I know can even understand why. It's like people just don't have any imagination, like thier minds are stagnate and can't see what CAN be, as if what we have now is the pinicle, and there's nothing that could reasonably be better. One tech improvement I can see as a step forward is caseless firearms, simply because you can increase the rate of fire, but... oh well.
