I've got about 125 pages left and I couldn't keep from posting until I finished, heh.

I've love the snooping scenes around Cranston, Gilbert's Corner and the underground base.  I've been on the edge of my chair reading those scenes.  I'm on the edge of my pants to see how that information will be used.

Like Shadowqhost, Manny grew on me.  He literally just snuffed it about 5 minutes ago.  I think I told David a while back that the death- or apparent death- of a character can have a greater impact on the other characters and the reader.  Take Charlie Bass and Jorge Lavager, the former leader in Backshot.  Both characters had completely different impacts on the other characters.   One brought a large sense of loss, while  the other brought anger.  Manny's death will definatley have an impact on ole Jak, regardless of what the 'intensely macho guys on this site ' think.  :)

 I start to wonder how much longer some of the minor to medium characters in Starfist will make it.  Let's face it...war is hell and Dan and David put our guys through the wringer often enough! :p

I can't wait to see how Pointblank plays out and what's in store for us later on!

Heheh- what ending was great!   I can't wait to see what happens next.
