What is this about August 19?  Amazon says 29th.  B&N says (helpfully) August.

Is it REALLY the 19th?

ANYONE GET THE BOOK YET???   

My bookstores around here (Chicago) still don't have it and are telling me Aug 29.  I WANT IT NOW!!!

Amazon is usually one of the first companies to recieve new books, Amazon usually sends there books out the day before they arrive on shelves and alot of people recieve them on the day of. I was just recently grumbling about how I ordered a book on Amazon, but should of went to go get it, because I got 3-5 day shipping. I walked outside...checked my mail....and there it was...the day it was released. So usually what date is on Amazon is what date it'll be. But maybe they dropped a load off by themselves at some random B & N.

We got one advanced copy some days ago.  I expect every day now to get the rest of our author's copies but so far, nothing..  But they're out there, languishing in a warehouse or suffering in shipping or maybe even resting on the shelves in some lucky stores.  We can only urge patience and prayer since we're dealing with vast corporate entities here.
