One way or the other, I am certain that you'll make it work.

I would like to comment on how the space battle was pretty interesting, and since it was the first drawn out space battle, it was exactly what I had hoped for. The use of chaff and flares was pretty interesting, and begs me to laugh at the weapons designers, not the authors, because they never updated thier weapons to be more then simple heat seekers. But where would the fun be if things were that easy, eh?

MK 3, maybe the weapons designers believe in the KISS method (Keep It Simple Stupid). Just ask any of the vets on this site, the more complicated it is. The easier it is to break or just not work.

Just like the statement Scotty makes in Star Trek 3 about plumbing...

Leuc:  Yes, FIRESTORM takes up where FLASHFIRE ends.  We are working hard on the manuscript and plan on turning it in to Del Rey on or about August 31st.  Please be advised, POINTBLANK, the second book in our
Force Reconnaissance spin-off series, will be released August 29th.  While PB concentrates on Force Recon operations it does tie in with the other two books on the Ravenette War.

Any further questions, just drop us a line at this site and either I or David will answer them for you.
