Eric, the best school for learning how to write is reading the writing of writers you like. I learned more about how to write by reading the novels of Elmore Leonard than from all other sources combined.

Well it's true. In eighth grade it took me hours, HOURS! To write a 5 paragraph essay. Now I usually have to write 3 to 5 pages of reports for my English teacher and that takes me 2 hours and 30 min. You know, as much as I like the StarFist series ( I actually love the series, hey, I joined an online book club), I cannot wait to sink my eyes in "The  Heritage Trilogy" and then the series after that and the series after that. Then after All of Dougles's work is read, I will or at least planning to read "The Lost Fleet " series. By the time October rolls around Bam! "StarFist: Force Recon: Recoil" comes out! A great series is the  "Clone" series. The first one is  "Rouge Clone" really good. It's like the Confedration military on H.G.H. Instead of regular armies they have an army of clones. Really great read!

This is a matter of Opinion but my favorite book store is "Barnes and Nobles" all of my friends go to Bordrers but frankly all of the stores of Borders that I've been to has it's books out of catagory, books on the floor. While Barnes and Nobles is very clean.
