Deadshot, I've disliked winter ever since I got back from Hawaii in 1965, so, yeah, year-round summer was a major factor. I'm prone to seasonal affective disorder, lots more sunshine here. And I've got a couple of old friends down here, folks I've known for 20 plus years--couldn't move someplace where I know nobody. The deciding factor, though, was taxes. I don't make very much, and need to stretch my few dollars as far as possible. In Philadelphia, the city and state between them took about 10% of my income. Here, there's neither state nor city income/wage tax. Unfortunately, my basic cost of living has risen more than 10%. *Sigh* The price of living in paradise.

Forget about my place for Spring Break. The Fort Lauderdale city fathers decided some years back to get rid of everything in their fair city that even hinted at sexuality. No more nudie bars, no hardcore movie houses, and this year they finally managed to get rid of Spring Break. They'll probably go after the few remaining xxx video stores next. And then probably the adult department of the public libraries.

Then Spring Break at my crib!!!...Clearwater has all kinds of those places!...but heck if you coming to florida then might as well go to Daytona!
