How fast did they get him there? In a week?
The Prime Master read the message again. This time, by the time he finished reading, he smiled beatifically. The message included a great deal of information about the Earthman Army and airpower and their tactics. Save me the trouble and look it up yourself. I think he was flown in. Prior to that, the only time a Marine had command over an army unit was in WWI, when Marine MajGen LeJeune was commander of the army's 2nd Infantry Division, which consisted of two Marine regiments and one army. LeJeune later became Commandant, and the biggest Marine base on the east coast is named after him.
